About Katie

Katie Speltz is a Minnesota-based dancer, choreographer, and model. She received her BFA in dance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2025 with a Somatic minor and Pilates certificate. Previously, she traveled throughout the United States assisting faculty at Celebrity Conventions. At UWM, she has performed in the works of guest artists Jackie Lopez aka "Miss Funk," Vershawn Sanders-Ward, Aysha Upchurch, Alfonso Cervera, Kia Smith, as well as numerous faculty. She has also performed with Gina Laurenzi Dance Project, Danceworks Apprentice Company and AIM Squad, as well as in shows under the direction of Jasmine Uras, Ashley Ray Garcia, and Zoe Mei Glise. Her choreographic work has been presented in UWM’s New Dancemakers, UWM’s Dance Student Organization’s Dance Collective, and at competitions across the country. After graduation she moved back to Minnesota where she has been teaching students throughout Southeastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
